One of the most-loved actors in the drama realm, Lee Seung Gi has been cast in another new role for the upcoming drama ‘Ancient Medical Book’ (working title).
On October 18th, entertainment representatives stated that Lee Seung Gi is confirmed for ‘Ancient Medical Book’, which will air early next year. He will take on the role of a mythical figure, a male version of a gumiho.
The actor will be working with director Shin Woo Chul, who directed SBS ‘Grace of Gentleman’ and ‘Secret Garden’, and Kang Eun Kyung, the write of KBS 2TV ‘Baker King: Kim Tak Gu’ and ‘Glory Jane’.
Meanwhile, miss A’s Suzy, who has proved her talent in acting through such drama series as KBS 2TV’s ‘Big’ and ‘Dream High’, was also offered a lead role in the series.
