Jaejoong’s Korean album ranks 4th on Oricon’s weekly chart
JYJ Jaejoong’s latest solo Korean album has placed within the top five slots on Japan’s prestigious Oricon weekly music chart.
According to a representative of C-JeS Entertainment, Jaejoong’s first solo album ‘WWW: Who, When, Why’ is receiving lots of attention not only in Korea, but also in Japan. The album ranked #4 on Oricon’s combined weekly chart, and largely surprised many music industry officials in the Japan.
This achievement is very significant as Jaejoong did not have any album promotion in Japan yet, and it clearly shows how much popularity Jaejoong’s album is receiving in the country.
To thank the Japanese fans, Jaejoong plans to meet with 60,000 fans in Japan through concerts on November 15-16 at the Yokohama Stadium. The rep added, “Only certain artists can fill up the entire stadium with their fans. Japanese fans’ excitement for Jaejoong’s concerts is now reaching the peak.”
