Idols’ Lunar New Year Plans, SM Goes Home, Cube and TS Entertainment Go Overseas

The lunar new year of 2014 has started. Most singers who don't have any activities are spending time at home with their families. Still there are others who are spending a lonely new year overseas.

SM Entertainment will be closed during the new year holidays. TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, EXO, f(x), SHINee, and other agency members will mostly be heading home. The exceptions are Girls' Generation member Yoona, who will be filming for KBS 2TV drama "The Prime Minister and I," and TVXQ's Changmin, who will be filming for cable channel Mnet drama "Mimi."

Besides Yoona and Changmin, there are other members who will be busy with their activities. For example, SISTAR has been granted rest during this holiday, but Dasom doesn't have the same privilege. She is currently filming for "Melody of Love" as the lead role, and will be busy during this holiday season.

Cube Entertainment and TS Entertainment singers will be the busiest during the lunar new year.

4MINUTE has a Hong Kong fan meeting planned for February 8. For the lunar new year the members will spend a short time with their family and go directly into practicing. BTOB is currently busy planning for their comeback, and will be leaving for the Philippines for their February 2nd K-pop concert. BEAST will be spending the holiday in Japan because of their January 30th Japan promotions.

B.A.P and BTOB both left for their K-Pop concert to the Philippines on the 31st and will return on February 3rd. SECRET is looking forward to their "I Do I Do" release in Japan on February 5th, and is busy promoting for the song's release. They will be leaving for Japan on February 1st.

2PM will be spending the holidays overseas as well. They are in the middle of their Arena Tour, which started on January 27th and 28th in Nagoya. Their tour will continue until the end of March, and take place in 5 different cities in Japan.

CNBLUE visited New York on the 21st and LA on the 27th for their Mexico World Tour concerts. They are planning to visit Chile and Peru to continue their tour.

Girl groups that recently had their comebacks in January are busy with their music activities promoting their new songs, but will be able to spend the holiday with their families.

Girl's Day members all went home on the 28th and the 29th, where they will be able to rest until February 1st. Dal Shabet left for home after their last schedule on the 30th. Rainbow BLAXX will only be able to rest on the 31st because of their busy schedules. These 3 groups will be resuming their activities with their February 2nd broadcast of SBS "Inkigayo."
