Song Ji Hyo and Choi Jin Hyuk’s “Emergency Couple” Is at the Top of Shows Airing at the Same Time
tvN’s weekend drama “Emergency Couple,” regardless of having missed an episode due to a special broadcast, is receiving a lot of love.
The postponed 8th episode was aired on the night of Friday, February 21. This episode received an average of 3.7% viewer ratings and a high of 4.7% on cable, satellite, and IPTV online platforms. Among other shows airing at the same time, for its target audience and online platforms, “Emergency Couple” is number one. Moreover, in the viewer ratings based in the Seoul metropolitan area, the drama hit an average of 4.1%, and a high of 5.0%.
For the 9th episode, the cable, satellite, and IPTV online platforms recorded an average of 3.6% and a high of 4.7%. For the 20-40 male and female target audience, the average was 2.5%, and the high was 3.2%. The ratings in the Seoul metropolitan area were 4.1% on average, and 5.5% at its high.
The “Emergency Couple” production team opted to air a special episode on February 15 in lieu of the 8th episode, in order to create a better, more complete episode. With increasing anticipation for the drama, the production is striving to create a more well-made drama.
Increasing the viewer ratings with every episode, the drama showed great ratings for its 8th and 9th episode.
