G-Dragon, Taeyang, f(x), Block B & More To Perform At 'Simply K-Pop Tour' In Shanghai

The 'Simply K-Pop Tour in Shanghai' will be a must-see event.

Korea's Ministry of Sports, Culture, and Tourism, in conjunction with the China Youth Development Foundation, will present the Simply K-Pop Tour 2014 in Shanghai on March 22. The concert will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena and will be broadcast by Arirang TV and Dragon TV, in Shanghai. Big Bang's leader G-Dragon will be participating in the event along with his group mate, Taeyang. Other artists participating in the three hour Simply K-pop Tour 2014 in Shanghai include f(x), U-KISS, Crayon Pop, Rainbow, VIXX, Block B, AJAX, Kan Mi Youn, C-Real, and Jjun.

The concert which is organized by F.M. Media and Intercrew, will have part of its proceeds benefit victims of the deadly earthquake in China and will also be utilized to build a goodwill library known as the Korean-China Friendship Library. The event will include a press conference on March 21, which will involve the artists who will be performing at the concert. Artists participating in the concert will also have their names embellished on a placard which will adorn the library.

Arirang TV is an English language network which broadcasts internationally. In addition to Simply Kpop, the network is also home to the popular program After School Club, which makes K-Pop more accessible to a worldwide audience.
