GOT7 to Kick Off Japanese Activities with Two Showcases
Rookie group GOT7 will be venturing out to the Japanese music market.
The latest project of JYP Entertainment has already signed a legal contract with Sony Music, one of the leading music companies in Japan, and will be kicking off their activities by holding a showcase titled “GOT7 Showcase 1st Impact in Japan” on April 4 in Tokyo at the Ryougoku Sumo Hall.
Since debuting on January 20 with their first mini album “Got It?” the group has quickly gained popularity both in Korea and abroad. Soon after their debut, they launched an official mobile site for their Japanese fans, and in no time, more than 10,000 fans registered for the site.
Moreover, GOT7 will be taking their first steps as idols on Japanese ground at the same concert venue as their labelmate 2PM, who also held their first showcase at the Ryougoku Sumo Hall, making the event even more meaningful.
