“It’s Okay It’s Love” Sets Us Up with Some Tantalizing Stills, and a Word from the Producers

The new drama “It’s Okay It’s Love” is airing its first episode tonight (July 23, KST), and the production has revealed some preview stills to whet our drama appetites!

The first set of stills shows Jung Jae Yeol (Jo In Sung) in a sea of pretty ladies at his pool birthday party, where he is the DJ. Jung Jae Yeol’s brother then shows up, with whom he has had a bad relationship due to an unknown past event, and we see in subsequent photos Jo In Sung lying on the floor and his brother being restrained, gripping a knife.

In yet another set of stills, we see Jung Jae Yeol (Jo In Sung) and Ji Hae Soo (Gong Hyo Jin) in what seems to be a tense conversation. The next photo then shows a passed out Ji Hae Soo, being held by Jung Jae Yeol, who is bleeding. The scene revealed in these stills is the second meeting of the two characters, after their first meeting in which they had a heated discussion on a talk show, mystery novelist to psychiatrist.

These scenes can be caught in the first episode airing tonight (July 23) at 10PM (KST). Find out what happened when Jung Jae Yeol’s brother crashed his party and why Ji Hae Soo is passed out in Jung Jae Yeol’s arms.

The producers had a word for viewers, as well. Ahead of the first broadcast, they said, “On the main characters’ romance, and the various topics of psychology, we ask that you watch the drama with an open mind.” They explained, “All of the characters in this drama have some sort of psychological scars, both big and small. We wanted to portray the idea that ‘you’ and ‘I’ are not weird, just different.”

Lee Kwang Soo, especially, plays Park Soo Kwang, a character with Tourette’s Syndrome. Both those with severe Tourette’s and those with just minor tics experience extreme difficulty in their everyday lives. If, through our drama, people would realize that treating those with Tourette’s like anybody else really helps a lot with their everyday lives and with their treatments, we will have succeeded in the biggest goal of this production.”
