This week, Nu’est held their first successful concert in Mexico! In connection with J’Fest, the popular boy band held their first-ever Latin American concert on September 18th in the beautiful capital of Mexico City.
Fans waited patiently for hours outside the venue, wearing colors for the group and holding signs in support of their favorite members. Even though the wait was long for those who were hoping to stand right next to the stage, the ambiance was really relaxed and fun. People were taking pictures, talking about their favorite K-pop groups and K-dramas and sharing former concert experiences.
A few hours before the concert began, the lucky fans who were able to purchase tickets for the autograph session entered the venue and were given a book to collect the autographs of every member. The guys were really kind to everyone and fans were thrilled for this special opportunity to meet their favorite artists up close.
When the concert began, NU’EST was met with screams and cheers from the happy Mexico fans who were finally able to see the group live. They sang songs like, Judgment, FACE, Not Over You, Action, Good Bye Bye, Love You More and Storybook. They also sang the English version of Sandy.
The group tried their best to communicate with fans by speaking phrases in Spanish like, “Como estan?” and “VIVA MEXICO!” Each member shared that they were so happy to be in Mexico and have the opportunity to meet their fans there for the first time, and they hoped the concert would be the first of many to be held in Mexico.
The guys seemed really happy and had a lot of fun onstage. The fans loved their performances and fan service. The 1-hour concert passed by quickly, and fans left the venue crying and laughing and wishing the event wasn’t already over. They also expressed their appreciation to J’Fest for bringing the group to Mexico.
NU’EST also had some time for quick sight-seeing around Mexico before heading to Peru for their next concert.
