This week’s Battle may leave you a bit puzzled, but these two ladies have more in common than meets the eye.

They’re both divas in their own right – Ailee, for her voice and CL for her ‘baddest female’ attitude – and their respective agencies recently announced plans for the girls to advance into the U.S. market.

We all know Ailee has the vocal chops to make it in the U.S., and now she also has some awesome help to break into the tough market.

YMC Entertainment recently posted a photo of the songstress with famed producer and songwriter Shea Taylor, the hitmaker behind some of Beyonce, Rihanna and Neyo’s hits.

Although her agency stated its is treading the U.S. market carefully, Ailee is currently going full force on the K-Pop scene with her latest single Don’t Touch Me.

CL

2NE1 is a household name among K-Pop fans all around the world, but it appears leader CL will be the first to officially make her debut in the U.S.

YG Entertainment announced last week that CL will be releasing a U.S. single as soon as next spring with Scooter Braun, the talent manager behind Justin Bieber and Psy.

From the looks of it - with the 2NE1 member already schmoozing with pop stars like Rita Ora – CL is already laying the groundwork for her highly-anticipated debut.
