On January 6, non-photoshopped images of actress Lee Da Hee modeling for the shoe brand “Crocs” spring/summer advertisement were released. In one of the photographs, Lee Da Hee wears shorts and a crop shirt which show her waist line. Netizens marveled at her body line which had no fat or cellulite.

Lee Da Hee modeled with actor Jin Sung for the advertisements. In the photograph with Jin Sung, Lee Da Hee wears a pink knit shirt and hot pink flats. Lee Da Hee shows off her perfect legs which are long and thin. Although she wears casual clothes, she still looks sexy.

People on set complimented Lee Da Hee’s professionalism. They commented, “Although it was a cold day, Lee Da Hee did not shown any signs of discomfort while wearing spring and summer outfits. As a former supermodel, she performed like a true professional with her poses and expressions. Lee Da Hee is a style icon by her ability to digest all the different outfits and using her experiences as an actress and model. She uses various facial expression and poses which made the outfits shine.”

Ha Suk Jin has his back against the wall as he share a passionate kiss scene with beautiful actress Jang Hee Jin in teaser images recently released for the SBS drama “Thrice Married Woman.” The pictures show Jang Hee Jin with her arms wrapped around the neck of nicely dressed Ha Suk Jin as the two get close with each other. The intimate scene will be featured on the February 9 episode of the drama. Staff members were reportedly out of breath by the actors’ skinship during the scene.

“Thrice Married Woman” is a family drama that premiered in November. It follows a mother and her two daughters who have complicated love relationships. The drama provides multi-generational perspectives on dating and relationships. It airs on Saturdays and Sundays at 9:55PM.

In KBS 2TV "Immortal Song 2" aired today, Taemin came out and competed against other great singers.

Taemin chose the song 'Hold On' and revealed great dancing skills with stable live singing skills. Taemin said, "I think it's been 2 years since I last came out. I'll repay the efforts of all audience members who came here with my performance."

He came out in a denim jacket and used the stand mic as a part of his performance. He also changed his jacket into a leather jacket in the middle of his performance.

He received a total of 360 votes, rising to 1st place.

Gary Makes Funny Cameo Appearance as Driver for Drunk Song Ji Hyo on “Emergency Couple”

Rapper Gary has made a funny cameo appearance on episode six of tvN’s hospital love drama “Emergency Couple.” In the cameo scene, Oh Jin Hee, played by Song Ji Hyo, gets drunk and calls a driver to take her back home. Gary appears as the working driver and helps the drunk Oh Jin Hee get into her car. During the scene, Oh Jin Hee calls Gary as “Gary Ajusshi,” but Gary comically responds, “I’m not Gary. Who’s Gary? I’m Terry.” The joke is a pun because “terry” or “dae-ri” in Korean can also mean driver. The drunk Oh Jin Hee makes the scene funnier by hitting on Gary saying, “You’re my style.”

She had to come out with a naked face because makeup is chemical product also. She said, "This is too much. Looking put together on TV is part of basic manners and I think people will say that I'm rude."

She said, "I went to radio and everyone said to me, 'Shouldn't you put something on your face?' and didn't stop bothering me. It made me so upset."

Soyu Earns Title “Sales Queen” as Collaboration Track Sweeps Charts Again

There are artists whose songs you want to download even without hearing a preview, and based on her recent success, Sistar‘s Soyu is quickly becoming one of them.

Most recently, Soyu paired up with singer Junggigo and rapper Lilboy of Geeks, and the highly anticipated collaboration track “Some” hit the online stores on February 7. The track immediately swept the charts, placing first on ten online music stores. It was also able to snatch the number one spot from Disney film “Frozen” OST’s “Let It Go,” which dominated the charts until the release of “Some.”

“Some” has been produced by a K-pop dream team consisting of Kim Do Hoon, Min Yeon Jae, and Zanybros. The track is the second collaboration project of Starship X.

This is not the first time Soyu has topped the charts with a collaboration track. Last year, she teamed up with rapper Mad Clown, who gained much popularity through MNet’s “Show Me the Money 2,” and released the emotional “Stupid in Love.” The song became a huge success, and even earned the duo a trophy on “Music Core.”

Soyu is currently promoting “Some” on music shows with Junggigo, and she also stars on JTBC’s variety show “The Great Marriage.”

Hi Soompiers, Valentine’s Day is coming up! What better way to celebrate than with the forum community that celebrates love in its most ideal form? This year, we will have a friendly contest to determine which shipping team/couple reigns supreme!

The purpose of this contest is to introduce newcomers to the wonderful shipping communities within Soompi. We all want to know who your couple is and what makes them special, so show us your best text, photos, gifs, artworks, videos, and more! We will display some of the best content to give everyone the chance to get to know your couple.

The winning team will receive a special member status on Soompi which will be reflected whenever they post on the forums, as well as a special collection of avatars and banners. At the staff’s discretion, one person from the fandom may be granted limited moderating privileges to moderate within their thread. These privileges will last for six months.

Here’s how it will work. One person from each shipping thread may reserve a spot in the contest by replying in our forum thread with the couple’s name and thread URL. Once the application period ends a few days later, a new thread will be opened, and one person from each fandom will add a post in the thread with all the necessary content (e.g., text, photos, videos, etc.). “Miss Granny” Draws Audience of Over 5 Million

Director Hwang Dong Hyuk’s “Miss Granny” will be the first Korean movie of 2014 to break through the 5 million audience barrier.

According to the Korean Film Council’s online movie ticket network, the total attendance for “Miss Granny” stood at 4.9 million as of February 7, only 18 days after being released on January 22. On February 7 itself, over 200,000 people caught the movie in theaters, meaning that it is highly likely that the movie will break the 5 million barrier on February 8.

“Miss Granny” is a comedy film about a 74-year-old granny, Oh Mal Soon (Na Moon Hee), who gets the chance to return to her twenty year old body. She changes her name to Oh Doo Ri (Shim Eun Kyung) and decides to make the most out of her youth.

“Miss Granny” is likely to dominate theaters in February, if theater-goers continue to show their support for the movie. The box-office success of “Miss Granny” brings to mind January 2013’s heartwarming comedy, “Miracle in Cell No. 7,” which attracted a total audience of 12.3 million.

The power to make audiences laugh and cry has been a tried and tested formula for box office success, as evidenced in “Miracle in Cell No. 7” and “Miss Granny.”

That the body transformation of a foul-mouthed grandmother back into her 20-something body will bring laughs is a given. Shim Eun Kyung’s portrayal of a young girl with an old soul has earned her rave reviews for her delightfully dry sense of humor. She also performed remakes of old songs, such as “If You Go to Los Angeles” with Rose Motel, as well as “White Butterfly” for the OST, with startling sensitivity beyond her age. The theme of sacrifice for the sake of one’s family is likely to make theater-goers slightly teary-eyed.

While “Miracle in Cell No. 7” brought in the laughs and tears, and not to forget the cute, with the father-daughter combination of Ryu Seung Ryong and Gal So Won, “Miss Granny” rests firmly upon the shoulders of Shim Eun Kyung. If “Miracle in Cell No. 7” earned considerable audience sympathy for the wrongful imprisonment of Ryu Seung Ryong’s mentally handicapped character, “Miss Granny” has won fans with its story about maternal sacrifice.

Both films have both received ardent support from the viewers in their 40s and 50s, which is a key factor in the box office success of “Miracle in Cell No. 7” and “Miss Granny.” The release of “Miss Granny” just before the Lunar New Year holidays certainly helped pull this group of viewers in.

However, “Miss Granny” still has a long way to go. While both films broke the 5 million audience barrier, we will have to keep an eye on this one to see how far it will go. Besides “The Laws of Pleasure,” which hit theaters on January 13 and has a slightly younger audience, “Miss Granny” does not face any major challengers.

“Miss Granny” is currently standing side by side with animated movie “Frozen,” and this has also helped to attract viewers who are looking for something different. It’ll be interesting to see how “Miss Granny” fares, and February will certainly be an important month for the movie.
