JYP Entertainment will collaborate with Mnet to launch a new survival program titled 'Sixteen'.
'Sixteen' will feature a total of 16 contestants, with 4 Japanese members and 1 Chinese member. The show will unveil a battle between the 7 candidates, who have been preparing to debut under JYP Entertainment's upcoming girl group, and 9 other trainees who will strive themselve to obtain a spot of those 7 candidates.
It was also revealed that 'Sixteen' will provide a new tension as it will present a completely new format that has never seen before in the previous shows.
A rep from JYP Entertainment said,"We will showcase a variety of fun and the charms through the contestants. Please give us a lot of your attention and support".
'Sixteen' is expected to go on air in the beginning of April.
