[NEWS] f(x)’s Sulli cuts her hair for ‘To the Beautiful You’

f(x)’s Sulli cuts her long hair and transformed into a “boy”.

Sulli has landed in the role of Koo Jae Hee, a bright and cheerful girl in the new SBS drama ‘To the Beautiful You’. Jae Hee disguises herself as a boy to attend an all-male physical education high school to find Tae Joon (SHINee’s Minho) who gave her a miracle .

To become the character of Jae Hee, Sulli attempted at changing her image. She cut 60 cm of her long hair and showed passion for her character.

While she cut her hair without hesitation, she began shedding tears at the sight of her hair on the floor, before quickly composing herself.

The scene was taken in SBS Ilsan on July 7th. Sulli wore a wig into the set as she had cut her hair the day before. As soon as the shoot started, the f(x) member focused into Jae Hee character and boldly cut her hair off.

Meanwhile, ‘To the Beautiful You’ will premiere on SBS in August.

[VIDEO] 2PM’s Wooyoung releases MV making of “Sexy Lady” Part 2

After releasing the first making-of video of his debut title track “Sexy Lady” last week, 2PM’s Wooyoung has just unveiled the second episode the making film.

Released on July 16 through the official 2PM Youtube channel, the video features Wooyoung having his rehearsal as well as filming the dance sequences for his latest solo track “Sexy Lady”. Fellow 2PM members also appeared in the scene to show their support for Wooyoung.

[NEWS] 2AM’s Jo Kwon signs a marriage certificate?

It has been revealed that 2AM’s Jo Kwon accidentally signed a marriage certificate.

On the recent episode of cable TV’s “Y-Star Curious” that aired on July 15, Jo Kwon talked about a time when he previously signed a paper regarding marriage registration.

During the episode, a female fan of Jo Kwon revealed a marriage certificate that had Jo Kwon’s signature on it. She said that she always carried the paper to get the idol’s signature during their promotions for “Confession of a Friend” in 2009.

The fan explained, “I wanted to marry Jo Kwon so I got his signature when he was so distracted during their fan signing event.”

However, the production crew found out that the marriage certificate is not valid.

Yang Hyun Suk expects competition between ‘K-Pop Star’s Park Ji Min and SuPearls

On the latest episode of SBS‘ ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘, BoA, J.Y. Park, and Yang Hyun Suk were featured as guests and discussed their experience with ‘K-Pop Star’ as well as their future expectations.
As announced previously, SuPearls, consisting of ‘K-Pop Star‘s Lee Hayi, Lee Michelle, Lee Seung Joo, and Lee Jung Mi, are currently preparing for their upcoming debut under YG Entertainment.
Fellow ‘K-Pop Star’ judge J.Y. Park revealed regarding the contestants Park Ji Min, Baek Ah Yeon, and Park Jae Hyung who were recruited into JYP Entertainment, “They are adjusting better than expected and are training hard with excitement for their debut.”
Yang Hyun Suk added that he expected competition to occur between the upcoming debuts, stating, “I know that SuPearls and Park Ji Min will debut around the same time. We will work hard to see who comes out on top.”
In other news, ‘K-Pop Star’ Season 2 is set to air this upcoming November.

[NEWS] 2NE1 to collaborate with Jung Sungha?

2NE1’s Sandara Park has hinted of the possible collaboration between the group and the guitar genius, Jung Sungha.

On July 15th, Sandara posted a spoiler on her me2day account, “Last spoiler~! 2NE1 meets guitar genius Jung SungHwa!! We were so impressed by his Lonely guitar cover last year!! It’s even better to see him face to face! What will he show us this time~ +.+ 2NE1 + Jung SungHa!! We will release it soon^__^ Please look forward to it!”

She also attached a photo, showing the 2NE1 members posing with Jung Sungha. As the photo was captioned with the words “I Love You”, fans were speculating for a joint acoustic performance of 2NE1’s latest title track “I Love You.”
