EXO Kris′ Lawyer Says Suit will be Settled Quietly

EXO member Kris is sending shockwaves with the news that he filed a suit to terminate his contract with SM Entertainment.

In charge of Kris′ case, Hankyul Lawfirm spoke with enews on May 15, saying, "We have filed a suit with the district court to terminate his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment over contractual terms."

"The documents have been submitted to the court and we′re preparing for the lawsuit."

EXO made a huge hit with its song Growl in 2013. The group recently released its new mini album Overdose and were carrying out promotions.

However, with its exclusive concert ahead from May 23 to 25, Kris requested for his contract to be terminated.

SM stated, "We′re very caught off guard. We′ll do our best for EXO′s promotions to continue running smoothly."

"We will not be doing any more interviews with the press or revealing the details of the lawsuit," said Hankyul Lawfirm. "We will settle this quietly."

No Min Woo’s Japanese Popularity is Strong Enough to Change a Drama’s Organization

The Chinese drama that No Min Woo is staring will air in Japan first. 

No Min Woo plays a rich son named Yi Tian who is pure and charming in the drama “Falling in Love With You by the Effective Deadline” (literal translation.)

China plans to air this drama on satellite TV. However, due to the heated requests from Japanese fans and No Min Woo’s popularity, Japan’s DATV will air the drama first. No Min Woo is feeling the effects of his high popularity in Japan.

A representative of DATV stated “Normally if a mainland drama is popular, steps will be taken in due order to export it and air it, but No Min Woo’s case is unprecedented. The request to see him as act as soon as possible was hot, and it will air in Japan first despite not airing in China yet. The Japanese fans are giving positive remarks towards No Min Woo’s enthusiastic performance as the male leading actor in a melodrama.”

No Min Woo showed off his drawing skills, wearing a shirt with characters that he drew. Look out for No Min Woo’s clothing in the drama, as it will be an unusual point to focus on.

An agency representative revealed on the behalf of No Min Woo “No Min Woo has already positioned himself as a singer through his album activities and concerts, and he will be stretching himself as an actor through this drama. He is thankful for the hot response in Japan.”

Infinite Unveils ‘Season 2’ Tracklist with Solos and Unit Group Songs

Coming back together, but with separate songs, Infinite released the tracklist for its upcoming album Season 2.

The tracklist was released on May 15, showing a total of 13 tracks.

Along with the title song, Last Romeo, the songs that stood out were tracks 6, 7, 11, and 12. Tracks 11 and 12 were Sung Kyu and Woo Hyun’s solo songs, which had the lyrics written by the respective singers, while Woo Hyun also composed his track.

Tracks 7 and 11 were dedicated to Infinite H, the hip hop focused duo of Dong Woo and Hoya, as well as the new sub-unit, Infinite F, consisting of Sung Yeol, L, and Sung Jong.

Meanwhile, Infinite will release the new album on May 21, along with a three-day showcase in three different countries.

Ji Chang Wook Plans to Reveal Mini Drama “Caffeine” At Japan Fan Meetings

Actor Ji Chang Wook will showcase his new mini drama “Caffeine” at his fan meeting in Japan.

According to a representative from Ji Chang Wook’s agency on May 14, the actor will be revealing the mini drama as a special event for his fans at the fan meetings being held at Tokyo Yomiuri Hall on May 17, as well as Theater Brava! in Osaka on June 7.

“Caffeine” is a romance drama that depicts both the sweet and the bittersweet aspects of love between a couple, using wine and coffee to represent this comparison. Throughout the mini drama, songs from the musical of the same name, “Caffeine,” will play as background music, creating a romantic atmosphere.

In the still cuts released prior to the fan meetings, Ji Chang Wook can be seen staring into the eyes of a beautiful female and having a conversation with actor Hyun Woo.

Also at the fan meeting, the actor is preparing to display his vocal talent by singing one of the main songs from the musical “Caffeine.”

One of the organizers of the fan meetings shared, “Ji Chang Wook is putting his all into preparing a special video and great performance to give back to the fans who will be attending. Even after the completion of MBC’s drama ‘Empress Ki,” he stayed up for three nights without rest to finish filming the mini drama.
