[World Cup Roundup] Eric Nam, B1A4, 2PM, Big Bang, 2NE1, and More Cheer on Korea Against Algeria

Many people stayed up all night, prepared with fried chicken, beer, and raincoats to cheer on the Korean team in its second game against Algeria in the 2014 Brazil World Cup.

The game started at 4AM (KST), but the festivities had already started even earlier than that with stars updating their SNS accounts with how they are cheering for the team.

Unfortunately, the game ended as a 2:4 loss, but the SNS updates proved no one was pointing fingers, as an outpour of encouragement followed.

Although we′re not sure if they are related to the World Cup, the photos G-Dragon uploaded in the wee hours of the morning while the game was going on seemed to express perfectly how everyone in the nation felt as they watched Korea lose before heading off to bed.

Pre-debut boy group WINNER sure knows how to raise the anticipation for their upcoming debut, as they have just kicked off the “New York Week” with a teaser photos release.

In the photo set, the boys can be seen suavely posing next to a vintage car at night and roaming the streets at night. This model-like pictorial debut style follows the release for five sets of photos for last week’s “Test Week.”

“Winner Week,” which will hopefully be the prelude to WINNER’s debut, will be happening on June 30.

C-Jes Entertainment denies the news of Song Ji Hyo transfers to a new agency

Song Ji Hyo was earlier reported to end her contract with C-Jes Entertainment and move to a new agency on June 23rd. However C-Jes Entertainment has officially denied it and said it's just an unfounded rumour.

An official from C-Jes Entertainment said through press release,"We do not have any exclusive contract, Song Ji Hyo's situation is different since it was based on her trust to our management so her contract with us is just a verbal agreement. So the information of her transferring to another agency is baseless".

They also said,"Due to this misreport, all the production and advertisement companies which are preparing to sign their contracts with Song Ji Hyo have been rushing in with questions regarding this situation, and this has disrupted our operating system".

GOT7 Wants to Be Your Boyfriend in New “A” MV

JYP’s rookie boy group GOT7 (JB, Mark, Jr., Jackson, Youngjae, Bam Bam, Yugyeom) is back five months after their debut in January with the release of the music video for “A” and their second EP.

Title track “A” was written and composed by producer Park Jin Young, playing on the similarity of the Korean expression “ae-ee” and the letter “A.” While their previous song “Girls Girls Girls” gave the group a chance to show off their tricking ability, this new title track has a cute boyfriend concept.

Their second EP “GOT♡” has a total of eight tracks, including title track “A,” “U Got Me,” “Good Tonight,” and “Forever Young.”

The group said, “We think our fresh image is appropriate for our age, and it fits well with us.”
