HyunA Reveals She Did Not Lose Weight for “Red” Comeback

4minute member HyunA, who just made her solo comeback with the strong and sexy “Red,” revealed that her preparation period did not include a strict diet this time around.

On the July 17 episode of MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment Relay,” the singer talked about her new song and concept backstage at the set of her new music video.

Known for her lean and fit body, HyunA was asked to share her tips for achieving the perfect figure. She replied, “Actually, I did not lose a lot of weight for this comeback. I thought an extremely slim body does not fit the song, so I decided to work out instead.”

Surprised by the answer, the reporter commented, “But your arms are as thin as pencils,” to which HyunA wittily responded, “If pencils are this thick, then how do you grab them and write?” and filled the studio with laughter.

IU to Appear as Guest on Yoo Jae Suk’s New Variety Program “I’m a Man”

Singer IU will be making an appearance as the first female guest on KBS’ “I’m a Man,” a new variety show that was recently . Suzy of miss A was the guest on the pilot episode. 

On July 27, a broadcast representative told TV Report, “Today, IU will appear as a surprise guest during the recording for ‘I’m a Man.’” It appears that IU will be the only female present at the set, among the all male cast and audience.

The topic of the recording that IU will be participating in, and that the cast members will be discussing, is ‘The Only Man in a Woman’s World.”

Meanwhile, “I’m a Man” aired its pilot episode earlier this year in April, before getting the green light to become a fixed program on KBS. It is becoming a hot topic, as it is Yoo Jae Suk’s first new talk show in about four years. Kwon Oh Joong, Lim Won Hee, Jang Dong Min, and Huh Kyung Hwan have all been confirmed to MC alongside Yoo Jae Suk, and the show is expected to run for a total of 20 episodes per season.
