Lee Min Ho Talks About His Appearance on Chinese TV

Actor Lee Min Ho recently appeared on Chinese network CCTV’s New Year Gala on January 30. He had commented on his New Year Gala appearance prior to the event. 

Lee Min Ho revealed his thoughts via his agency StarHaus Entertainment on January 31, “I had a lot of fun and it was an honor to be performing on that stage. There was greater significance for me because it shows how much Hallyu culture has spread. I would like to express my gratitude to director Feng Xiao Gang and the other officials at CCTV.”

Lee Min Ho had performed “Qing Fei De Yi,” the theme song of Taiwanese “Meteor Garden,” the predecessor to “Boys over Flowers,” along with its original singer Harlem Yu.

He is the first Korean actor to participate in CCTV’s annual New Year Gala. French actress and international film star Sophie Marceau also received an invitation to the event.

According to his agency, Lee Min Ho sang in mostly Korean during the broadcast, but performed in Chinese towards the end. The program was watched by over 700 million people during its live broadcast all over China, and his fans in Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and so on were able to catch his performance via live internet broadcasting.

StarHaus said, “When it was almost time for Lee Min Ho’s performances, the number of visitors to CCTV’s website jumped sharply and the server slowed down. His name also was all over Weibo (Chinese SNS service) and other portal sites.”

Actress Park Se Young Sends Her Heart to Fans

Actress Park Se Young shared an adorable photo and message for her fans!

Despite being occupied with filming MBC’s “We Got Married” (with pretend husband 2PM‘s Wooyoung)  and “Fashion King” movie, Park Se Young didn’t forget the fans who have supported her career!

On the morning of January 31, Park Se Young uploaded the following photo and message that read, “I hope everyone gets some rest during the new year~ that you have fun times, that you don’t suffer from any health-related issues this new year, that you’re always happy – let’s continue smiling this year ~ 2014 will be your year!”

According to S.A.L.T. Entertainment, Park Se Young enjoyed the holidays with herr adorable nieces and nephews.

Lee Jong Hyuk’s Cute Son Junsu Smiles with a Panda on Singapore Vacation

Actor Lee Jong Hyuk has taken his family to Singapore for a cartoon filled vacation. Pictures of Lee Jong Hyuk’s family were posted on an online community showing Junsu and his brother posing in front of a humongous Kung Fu Panda impersonator. Junsu still looks adorable as he smiles for the camera. His recent pictures had netizens reminiscing over his past TV appearances on the show ”Daddy, Where are You Going?“

Cute Junsu and his father Lee Jong Hyuk gained popularity last year for their appearance on the hit reality show “Daddy, Where are You Going?” The pair did not return for the second season the show. Lee Jong Hyuk is currently reviewing the script for the thriller movie “Missing 2.”

Singer Yoo Seung Jun Enjoys Lunar New Year with Family in Tropical Seycehlles

Entertainer Yoo Seung Jun shows fans how he celebrates the Lunar New Year with his recent post filled with photos on his Weibo page. The photos show a ripped and muscular Yoo Seung Jun spending time with his family on the tropical island of Seychelles. He posted the photos of his tropical holiday along with the heart warming message “Happiness to me is being with my family~ Happy new year guys~ I love you~ From Seychelles in South Africa ~” 

Singer Yoo Seung Jun was deported and banned from Korea in 2002 for allegedly avoiding military service. He recently assured the public that he has no plans to return to Korea. Yoo Seug Jun currently resides in Beijing where he is making his way into the Chinese entertainment industry.
