Honey Lee Confirmed for “Modern Farmer” Role

Actress Honey Lee is the latest star to be confirmed as a cast member of upcoming SBS drama miniseries, “Modern Farmer.” 

Honey Lee is a former Miss Korea, and also represented Korea at the 2007 Miss Universe beauty pageant. However, she has more recently made a name for herself as an actress, and starred in last year’s hit KBS2 drama, “Shark.”

“Modern Famer” already boasts an array of some of K-pop’s biggest names. Already confirmed to appear in the drama are FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki, AOA member Mina and N.Flying drummer Kim Jae Hyun (younger brother of Rainbow’s Jaekyung). Actors Park Min Woo and Lee Si Eon will also be appearing in the series.

Honey Lee’ agency, King Kong Entertainment, explained that the actress would play the part of a village chairperson in the new drama. The actress announced, in a statement, “The cast and crew of this drama are really outstanding. It will be quite hot when we start filming, but I will work hard and put a lot of energy into this role. I hope I can get a lot of support!”

EXO-K, Infinite, SISTAR, B1A4 and More to Join ‘M COUNTDOWN’ 10th Anniversary Special

Some of the representative artists in K-pop will be gathering in the same spot for M COUNTDOWN!

Mnet’s M COUNTDOWN will be airing a 10th anniversary special episode, featuring EXO-K, BoA, SISTAR, Infinite and more.

Airing its first episode on July of 2004, M COUNTDOWN will be celebrating its 10th anniversary. The show has gone through many changes and has developed through the years, receiving a lot of love from fans in and out of Korea for its high quality directing and planning.

The 10th anniversary special will stage performances by EXO-K, BoA, SISTAR, Dynamic Duo, Infinite, Brown Eyed Girls, as well as Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain.

Baek Ji Young, Ladies Code, AOA, B1A4, Block B, GOT7 and VIXX will also be meeting with the fans on the special day.

Rocker Jun In Kwon will be presenting a celebratory stage and the show will be hosted by MCs Jung Joon Young and Ahn Jae Hyeon.
