Soyu x Junggigo Surprised by Second M! Countdown Win
Project duo Soyu (Sistar) and Junggigo made a clean sweep of all the music shows last week, taking home five trophies for their duet “Some.” They continued their winning streak this week on Mnet’s M! Countdown.
Soyu x Junggigo delivered a far more natural and relaxed performance than last week, allowing them to focus on their vocals instead.
“Some” beat out Sunmi’s “Full Moon” to claim the number 1 trophy again. The duo were surprised to retain their top spot, and looked delighted when they received their trophy.
Other artists who appeared on this week’s M! Countdown include SM The Ballad, CNBlue, Sunmi, Ga In, Spica, BTS, Park Ji Yoon, BTOB, STELLAR, Ladies’ Code, Boys Republic, Speed, Nell, BESTie, AlphaBAT and M.O.A.
Today’s episode also marked the debut of the two new M! Countdown MCs, singer Jung Joon Young and actor Ahn Jae Hyun.
