[Star of the Week] An Updated Look into Song Ji Hyo′s ′Monday Couple′ Moments

With ‘Ace’ Song Ji Hyo winning the title of Star of the Week, it′s time to check in on the infamous ′Monday Couple′ one more time.

Even though it′s only been a couple months since we last looked at ‘Monday Couple’ moments, they’ve already started piling up on their sweet lovey-dovey couple moments worth taking a look at.

Cheek Kiss

When Lee Jong Suk visited Running Man, Song Ji Hyo was given a secret mission to have ′secret dates′ with him - without getting caught by anyone, including the wary-eyed Gary.

But Song Ji Hyo managed to distract everyone, when she posed for a ′cheek kiss′ with Gary, during which, of course, Gary shouted out, "Can we make this five minutes long?"

First Snowfall

The Monday couple spent their ′first snowfall′ together while traveling in a taxi to fulfill the day′s mission.

As it′s traditional to make a wish on the first snow, Song Ji Hyo immediately began lifting up a wish when Gary interrupted, "I′m celibate, so don′t make a wish to get married to me," to which Song Ji Hyo also commented, "Don′t worry! I′m not getting married either"

But that′s not what everyone else wants apparently, because later that day when they went shopping on the street market, an old man shouted, "You two should get married already! Everyone wants that!"

Christmas Special

For the special Christmas episode, Song Ji Hyo made a call to her Monday Boyfriend, Gary, who confessed, "You and I will be Monday partners forever. Even when you get married, you should come over to my place on Mondays," making her crack up.

But we all know he probably was half-serious when he said that....

Jealous Couple

When Song Ji Hyo partnered up with Lee Dong Wook and Gary was paired with Rainbow′s Jae Kyung, he made a call to Song Ji Hyo in the middle of the day to find out who her partner was, expressing his jealousy upon finding out that her partner was a handsome actor.

Destined Couple

In an episode of ′couple mission race,′ the fortune tellers revealed that the couple with the highest compatibility out of all participants were none other than Song Ji Hyo and Gary, surprising everyone on the show.

The PD revealed, "According to multiple fortune tellers, you two have the best compatibility," to which Gary commented, "I already feel like I′m married."

Supportive Couple

′Ace′ Song Ji Hyo′s hard work on the show was paid off when she received an award on SBS Entertainment Awards.

Gary, being the sweet man he is, volunteered to hold the bouquets of flowers for her while she gave her award speech, during which she promised, "I′ll get along more with Gary oppa in the new year!"

And while we love the Monday Couple on Mondays, the two will be branching out and meeting in a different time, different place. Stay tuned for Gary′s cameo in Song Ji Hyo′s Emergency Couple - we′ll be watching for more Monday couple moments.
