The comeback date for Girls’ Generation has been the center of attention for quite a while, and it is now being reported that May might be the answer.
According to industry insiders, the girl group is preparing for their fifth album with coming back in May as their goal. The new album will reportedly be their fifth studio album. It has been a year and four months since the release of their last full-length album “I Got a Boy” in January 2013.
Meanwhile, it has already been announced that they will release their ninth single “Catch Me If You Can” in Japan on April 22. Some fans had shown their disappointment at the fact that Girls’ Generation’s first album for 2015 would be released in Japan rather than Korea. However, though they may plan to start off 2015 in Japan, they will immediately return to Korea to repay their fans’ year worth of waiting.
Girls’ Generation without Jessica is also a reason for attention, since they will have to function with one less member this time. Most of all, due to their rough year in 2014, they are most likely under the pressure that they have to prove themselves through success in both Korea and Japan.
Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation will be holding a large-scale fan meeting in Japan’s Saitama Super Arena after they release their Japanese single “Catch Me If You Can.”
