During their appearance on Picnic Live a few days ago, members Sojin and Minah performed and emotional cover of critically acclaimed British blues singer Adele's number one hit "Someone Like You," sending chills down viewers' spines.
The slow-tempo arrangement of the song showcased the phenomenal harmony of the two singers leaving many fans to take to various social media platforms to suggest a Girl's Day sub-unit with Sojin and Minah.
Girl's Day recently jumped to the top of the charts with their latest mini-album Everyday 3 and the title track "Something" released in early January.
The single reached an impressive peak at number one on South Korea's leading music chart, Gaon, as well as number two on the US Billboard K-Pop Hot 100. The album itself reached number four on Gaon's weekly albums chart soon after release.
The album was written and produced by K-Pop hit-maker Duble Sidekick, but now that fans have seen a glimpse of what the girls can do outside the realm of K-Pop, we may soon see a push for more of a global input in their future music projects.
Check out the incredible performance below.
