SBS’ “My Lovely Girl,” which just aired its first two episodes this past week, has grabbed the online community. According to the ratings from Tving, a real-time online TV broadcast service, the viewer ratings for “My Lovely Girl” were at 15.5 percent, while “My Spring Day” and “Blade Man” recorded 8.6 and 7.2 percent, respectively.
This is a bit different from the viewer ratings data recorded by Nielsen Korea, which had “My Spring Day” coming in at 11.1 percent and “Blade Man” at 5.0 percent.
“My Lovely Girl” seems to especially have the attention of the younger viewing audience, eliciting a hot commentary on online sites about the drama.
Previously, for the first episode, “My Lovely Girl” had come in second behind “My Spring Day,” according to the ratings data provided by Nielsen Korea.

Keeping its loyalty, Shinhwa has re-signed a new contract with Chicken Mania.
After being selected as the spokesmodel for Chicken Mania in 2012, Shinhwa re-signed a contract in 2013, allowing the group to continue representing Chicken Mania for a third year.
With the fast changing trends in the commercial industry, Shinhwa and Chicken Mania signed a new contract with their faith and confidence in each other, as well as loyaly along with Shinhwa′s popularity.
ShinCom Entertainment stated on September 19, "Shinhwa has spent the past two years with Chicken Mania and has decided to continue with it. Shinhwa′s healthy and refreshing image matched will with the brand, coming up with good results, which led to the positive effects of the contract signing."
"Currently holding onto fans in both in and outside of Korea, Shinhwa and its representation for the brand for the past two years have brought awareness to the brand as well as increased sales. Working with Chicken Mania for a third year, we′ll do our best to continue creating a better image."
While representing Chicken Mania for a third year, the Shinhwa members have been active in individual activities such as dramas, musicas, and albums. The group will return with its 12th album in January of 2015.

Girls’ Generation (SNSD) unit group Taetiseo finally made its comeback this week with a new mini album and single Holler, and the girls are definitely making a lot of noise.
Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun are back, more confident than ever, with an upbeat song and glam concept that has already stolen the hearts of fans and top spots of music charts in Korea and abroad.
Released just two days ago, the music video has already amassed over 1.5 million views on YouTube.

Becoming the Korean version Nodame of the beloved manga and Japanese dorama series, Shim Eun Kyung had the chance to meet Ueno Juri, the actress who played the character Nodame of the Japanese series.
On September 18, drama production company, Group Eight, released a photo of Shim Eun Kyung and Ueno Juri, each representing Korea’s Tomorrow Cantabile and Japan’s Nodame Cantabile respectively.
The two met on September 14 at the Korea-Japan Festival, discussing each other’s characters and sharing some of the things that happened on set while they filmed the manga-adapted drama. Ueno Juri encouraged Shim Eun Kyung that she’ll be supporting the young actress as the drama begins.
Tomorrow Cantabile is starred by Joo Won and Shim Eun Kyung, and is a story about a group of young people growing their dreams as a classical musician. It begins December 13.

On September 17, Lee Jin Wook′s agency, Will Entertainment, stated, "After checking with him, he and Kong Hyo Jin have recently gone from couple to colleagues, cheering on each other′s futures," and "We ask for encouragement and support as the two actors continue their own paths."
Kong Hyo Jin′s management, Soop Entertainment, also stated, "It′s been confirmed that the two broke up recently, and as the reasons why they broke up are all personal matters, we ask for your understanding."
On May 29, Lee Jin Wook and Kong Hyo Jin confirmed that they were dating, attracting much attention, but the couple broke up three months later, drawing much sadness.
Meanwhile, Kong Hyo Jin recently concluded her SBS drama, It′s Okay, It′s Love, while Lee Jin Wook is still working on tvN′s Three Musketeers.
