Choi Jin Hyuk Sings for “Emergency Couple” OST
Actor Choi Jin Hyuk has contributed a track to the tvN drama “Emergency Couple” OST.
The OST’s production company revealed that Choi Jin Hyuk’s “Scent of a Flower,” Part 5 of the OST, would be released on March 14. It is now available for sale on major music portals.
His version of “Scent of a Flower” is slightly different from the original version, performed by singer Lim Jeong Hee. The song’s composer Baek Chan explained, “Choi Jin Hyuk’s version of the song has more blank spaces. This was not originally intended, but after listening to the track, the spaces make the song a calmer one, so I did not put in special effort to fill in the blanks.”
Choi Jin Hyuk’s rendition is accompanied by guitar sounds, utilizing a variety of different playing styles which contribute to the song’s quieter nature, as compared to Lim Jeong Hee’s more dramatic version.
Choi Jin Hyuk has sung for the OSTs of his previous dramas, including “The Heirs” and “Gu Family Book.” He is currently starring opposite Song Ji Hyo on tvN’s Friday-Saturday drama “Emergency Couple.”
