Kim Junsu’s New Song ‘Uncommitted’ Tops China’s MV Charts
Kim Junsu’s first English single ‘Uncommitted’ is receiving a popular response from his Chinese fans.
On the 17th of August, domestic and international fans flocked to various online music sites and JYJ’s official Youtube channel to catch the release of Kim Junsu (XIA)’s ‘Uncommitted’.
The video collected 3.28 million views on 音悦Tai, China’s largest music video site, and beat out music videos of other singers such as Super Junior and Psy.
C-JeS Entertainment stated, “As it is difficult to access Youtube in China, 音悦Tai is the most trustworthy site to gauge the popularity of music videos.Though it has been three months since ‘TARANTALLEGRA’, which also topped the charts, was released, it is currently ranked 7th on the charts, proving XIA’s popularity in China.”
Kim Junsu released his first solo album in May and became the most selling solo artiste on the Gaon Charts. He has also come out on top in the US, Germany, and Chile. His latest single ‘Uncommitted’ ranked high up on domestic music charts and topped Japan’s iTunes charts.
What is most surprising is that Kim Junsu was able to achieve this without any forms of promotions other than holding concerts.
Meanwhile, Kim Junsu plans to set out on his world tour on the 30th of this month in New York and pass through Europe, and North and South America.
