Psy has kept his runner-up title on the Billboard chart with his smash-hit track “Gangnam Style”!
According to Billboard’s latest rankings, Maroon 5 and Psy took up the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart as Maroon 5’s “One More Night” is #1 for the seventh week in a row and “Gangnam Style” is at #2 for six weeks in a row. While the two were 2,000 points apart on the week before, this week the difference managed to drop to about 600 points.
Billboard evaluated that “One More Night” is still on top thanks to its radio airplay. Gangnam Style’s radio airplay slided lower for the first time, and fell to no. 13, one step lower than its former rank.
On November 1, Psy wrote on his Twitter, “No.2 for one more night~T_T kk.” Especially, his cute sobbing emoticon is drawing many people’s attention. Fans expressed their support saying, “That’s still amazing”, “He’s the top for me” and “Cheer up!”.
