Ambitious producer Yoon Jong Shin will be working with rising idol group Teen Top for his new Mnet program “Entertainers“.
Formerly, Mnet released the first teaser for Yoon Jong Shin’s upcoming quasi-reality show “Entertainers.” According to Mnet, “Entertainers” will follow the styles of previous Mnet shows “God of Music” and “Enemy of Broadcasting,” which were well-liked by viewers for their mocumentary style and satire.
It was revealed that the idol group Yoon Jong Shin will be working with on the show is the six-member boy group Teen Top.
Mnet producer Park Jun Su announced, “popular idol group Teen Top has been active for five years but they’re well-known for their innocence. On “Entertainers,” talented but innocent idol group Teen Top will meet Yoon Jong Shin and face the bare face of the music industry. The show will show their rise to the stop through satirical comedy.”
He also added, “although the contract between Yoon Jong Shin and Teen Top is a setup for the show, there is a possibility of it actually happening in real life.”
“Entertainers” will be a mocumentary-style show where real people will play themselves in fictional situations. Various artists from MYSTIC89, Yoon Jong Shin’s independent label, are also planned to make appearances throughout the show.
“Entertainers” will premiere in July.
