Psy has hit the record books once more with “Gangnam Style”.
Psy’s “Gangnam Style” ranked 64th on the U.S. Billboard’s singles chart, The Billboard Hot 100, when it was updated on September 13th, the highest slot achieved by a Korean artist to date. The previous record was set by Wonder Girls, who placed 76th with their song “Nobody” in October 2009.
In addition, “Gangnam Style” zoomed to the No. 2 position from No. 13 last week on the Heatseekers Songs chart and maintained its No. 1 position on Billboard’s Social 50. The song is also finding success in other charts such as iTunes as well while the music video on YouTube has now surpassed 160 million views.
