FT Island teamed up with its fans to help the children in Africa!
On December 3, the Food for the Hungry International revealed that FT Island and the group’s official fan club Primadonna donated some books and a computer to Ivory Coast, a western African nation that has gone through a civil war for a year since 2010.
FT Island and its fans decided to donate about 120 books as well as a computer to be used on building a library in a children’s center.
Park Kwang Woo and Go Hye Young, who are running the center, stated, “We have had many kids who have found comfort through books during the war. We can now run a nice library with the donation.”
FT Island shared, “We really appreciate for the letters and pictures sent from Africa”, after receiving the thank you letter written by the children.
