YG Entertainment has teamed up with China’s No. 3 cosmetics firm Guangzhou Huanya Cosmetics Technology and Korean cosmetics manufacturer COSON to establish a cosmetics marketing corporation.
On September 3, YG Entertainment CEO Yang Min Suk took part in a signing ceremony for Hong Kong joint corporation establishment in Guangzhou, China with COSON and Huanya Cosmetics Group.
The new corporation will proceed with a new cosmetics business with each firm utilizing their core abilities. YG Entertainment will be in charge of brand marketing while COSON develops and manufactures cosmetics products. Huanya will take care of distribution throughout China.
Yang Min Suk said, “As we have been focusing solely on the entertainment business, we’re at a point where we want to expand YG’s brand to new and various fields.”
