Girl’s Day made a special surprise appearance at the 2014 Ground Forces Festival, causing soldiers to go wild upon seeing them. Every year, this large festival gathers soldiers and citizens to celebrate and enjoy the army culture.
On the November 23 episode of MBC’s “Real Men,” cameras showed the members of Girl’s Day entering the army base in order to put on a performance for the soldiers in attendance at the festival. Before going up on stage, the members ran into the cast and soldiers of the show.
Both sides greeted one another, however, some of the soldiers, including the stars of “Real Men,” asked for handshakes and were unable to hide their excitement after meeting the girls. The soldiers became so distracted by seeing Girl’s Day that they briefly forgot about their own upcoming performance.
Member Hyeri, who had earned much interest during her time on the female special of the program, appeared to have the most popularity amongst the soldiers and received the most attention.
