On November 29th, the famous R&B duo Fly to the Sky held a concert entitled Masterpiece of the Legends. The fantastic duo held the concert to celebrate their 15th anniversary since debut. Ballad singer Gummy was a guest at the concert which was held at the Pasadena Civic Center, outside of Los Angeles, California.
Before the concert started, Brian and Hwanhee held both a fan meeting and press conference. Fans had the opportunity to win raffle prizes, which included signed CD’s and even a trip to South Korea. Perhaps even more importantly, fans got the chance to shake hands or hug Brian and Hwanhee. The fan meeting also included and Q&A session with fans.
During the press conference, the handsome and talented singers discussed a variety of topics, including their favorite songs, past concerts and what some of their hopes and dreams are for the future.
Gummy opened the concert as the first act, proving she still has the vocal talent and skill to be a major league singer in the Korean music industry. The beautiful singer performer songs like, There Is No Love, Naughty Boy and Adult Child. In addition, she also sang a song from the popular drama, That Winter, The Wind Blows. Gummy also treated the crowd to a great rendition of Adam Levine’s popular song, Lost Stars.
When it was time for Fly to the Sky to perform, fans went crazy and gave them an amazing reception. The two talented artists still look and sound amazing, even 15 years after they first debuted. Most fans were actually in agreement that the two guys look better now than ever before!
The duo sang some great, classic songs like Day by Day and Like a Man. In addition they also sang more recent songs such as 너를 너를 너를 (You You You).
With their typical easy manners and funny personalities, Brian and Hwanhee joked and laughed with the crowd, sharing personal anecdotes and making the crowd really feel part of the event. In addition to their famous R&B sound, they also did a lot of up-beat, energetic number where they still showed off their sexy dance moves and great rhythm.
By the time the concert was over, fans had fallen completely in love with all 3 artists after such an amazing night. The performances were all top-notch and the quality of their voices showed the crowd while, at one point, they were with companies like SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment- labels who cater to producing and debuting idol groups and artists.
Fly to the Sky has performed in L.A. before, but they only seemed to make the crowd want more shows in the future. Without a doubt, these two amazing performers will continue to delight crowds all over the globe and will certainly return to L.A. as well.
