Epik High’s 8th full length album Shoebox has ranked number one on music charts in Korea as well as on iTunes.
Epik High’s 8th full length album Shoebox released on October 21 has ranked number one on iTunes chart in seven countries.
According to iTunes Album Chart, Shoebox ranked number one in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Taiwan and Vietnam and ranked number 32 in America.
It also ranked number seven on iTunes ‘Hip-Hip/R&B Chart’ in America and number two in Canada. As soon as Epik High’s 8th full length album was released, it not only ranked number one on the real time charts of online music sites, but the entire album tracks also lined up the top of the charts.
Epik High has topped MelOn, Naver Music, Olleh, Genie, Daum Music, Soribada, Mnet, Bugs and more as of October 21 at noon (KST) and the double title song Happen Ending is currently at the top spot.
All 12 songs in the album were self-produced by Epik High and features Gaeko, Beezino, Taeyang, Nell’s Kim Jong Wan, Jo Won Sun and more.
The music video for Born Hater, filmed vertically, received spotlight for featuring VerbalJint, Beenzino, B.I., Bobby and Winner’s Song Min Ho’s on top of its comical and straightforward lyrics and witty scenes.
The music videos for Spoiler and Happen Ending, which were released along with the 8th album, have been receiving positive feedback from the netizens for calmly depicting young men and women’s love and parting.
Epik High’s 8th full length album will be released offline on October 22. The group will also be launching its solo concert in five years under the title ‘Parade 2014’ on November 15 and 16 in Blue Square Samsung Card Hall.
