Park Hae Joon who plays Manager Chun in tvN drama “Misaeng” has landed his first starring movie role. He will play the male lead in the film “Fourth Place,” the fifth project of director Jung Ji Woo who most notably directed “A Muse.”
“Fourth Place” is a story about a failed swimmer turned coach and his student who can never place higher than fourth place in swim meets. The film attempts to bring to light the important values that we have lost in a society of increasing competition.
In the stills, which were dropped on December 18, the student Joonho (played by Yoo Jae Sang) and coach Kwangsoo (Park Hae Joon) are pictured training in and around the pool.
Director Jung Ji Woo only had the highest praises for Park Hae Joon, “Park Hae Joon possesses the genius ability to portray fastidiousness, free-spiritedness, and authenticity all at once. He’s got everything, good acting skills, a good attitude, and the build of swimmer.”
“Fourth Place” is slated for release in the first half of 2015.
