YG Entertainment has officially named Asiana Airlines as their official carrier.
On January 29, YG’s president Yang Min Seok has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Asiana Airlines Inc., one of Korea’s two major airlines. The MOU signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of Asiana Airlines in Seoul with the 2NE1 members in attendance.
According to the deals of the MOU, Asiana Airlines will become the exclusive airline for YGE artists’ global concerts and activities for the remainder of 2013, providing free airfare or discount to the artists and staff. In return, YGE artists will be helping promote the airline.
Asiana Airlines’ Ryu Kwang Hee stated, “We hope that Asiana Airlines will contribute to boosting K-pop and Korea’s national image with YG Entertainment.”
