Girls’ Generation has released an edited version of “Dancing Queen” music video following the controversy surrounding Sunny’s cap.
Previously, Girls’ Generation was under fire after netizens spotted that Sunny’s cap is bearing swear word. Many netizens have been expressing their discomfort and criticism saying, “Since Girls’ Generation has many young and teenage fans, they should consider things like this more carefully.”
Regarding the issue, SM Entertainment has decided to edit the scene in the music video. Still keeping the music video’s URL and stats, the agency blacked out the letters in Sunny’s rebellious cap.
