[Announcement] Soompi Is Looking for Editorial Interns!
Hi Soompiers! How would you like to intern at the Soompi office in Seoul and work with Noona?
We are currently looking for an awesome editorial intern to be part of the Soompi team! As an editorial intern, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: writing and editing articles, subtitling interviews with K-Pop stars, using social media to publicize content, running promotions with entertainment agencies, analyzing site traffic, and more. As an intern, the Soompi editors, including myself, will work with and guide you through the editorial process. Anyone who is interested in working in journalism and media should not miss this opportunity!
The position is paid, but we will not be providing housing or transportation expenses. Additionally, you must be able to work legally in South Korea, meaning that you will need to possess a proper visa. F-4 (for people of Korean heritage) and H-1 (for people from Canada, Australia, France, New Zealand, and Japan) are fine. Other visas may be considered as well. For more information, click here.
Requirements:
• Must be able to translate from Korean to English
• Must have strong command of English grammar
• Must be familiar with the Korean entertainment industry
• Must be organized, pro-active, responsible, and dedicated
