B1A4′s Baro and Do Hee Cover Seo Taiji and Boys for SBS Lunar New Year Special
B1A4’s Baro and Tiny-G’s Do Hee have been popping up together everywhere, which is probably inevitable given their idol status, similar ages, and “Reply 1994″ fame. The two were on tvN talk show “Taxi” together on January 23, and Do Hee earlier showed her support for B1A4′s music.
Baro and Do Hee recently collaborated to cover Seo Taiji and the Boys on SBS Lunar New Year special “Star vs. National Challenger, Face Off.” The two had supporting roles in the nostalgic drama “Reply 1994,” as Binggeurae and Yoon Jin respectively.
Riding the recent nostalgia wave, B1A4 performed Seo Taiji and the Boys’ “I Know” and “You, in the Fantasy,” executing the singing, choreography and fashion perfectly. Do Hee played a Seo Taiji fangirl in “Reply 1994,” and she appeared to share the stage during “Come Back Home.”
Baro and Do Hee also reenacted Sam Cheon Po (Kim Sung Kyun) and Yoon Jin’s famous “sunset kiss” scene, and the Binggeurae-Yoon Jin version promises to show us a possible alternative pairing.
Baro and Do Hee’s collaboration stage will be shown on SBS Lunar New Year special “Star vs. National Challenger, Face Off” on January 31 at 6pm (KST).
