2NE1’s CL Selected as New Model for Maybelline New York

2NE1’s CL has been selected to model for a global makeup brand, Maybelline New York.

Maybelline New York announced on February 7, that CL has been chosen as the new brand model.

CL has shown unique fashion styles along with chic and charismatic makeup each time she made her public appearances, and has recently ranked number one in a poll done by a media outlet asking, ‘which star looks the best in eyeliner?’

Attending her first commercial shoot with Maybelline, CL was praised by the staff for her fashionable outfits and charismatic makeup, pulling off different styles of trendy eye makeup.

An affiliate of Maybelline New York said, “We chose CL as the model to represent Maybelline New York’s fashionable makeup. As CL is a fashionista who has always received spotlights for her senses in fashion and makeup, we believe that she will be able to appeal the brand image of Maybelline New York to the public.”
