The first broadcast examined money movement around EXO and debut group GOT7.
EXO, which is in the top 1% of idols, has sold over a million album copies, done 11 different advertisements, and set recorded in 2013, all in just 2 year since their debut. Their annual sales exceeded roughly 30 million dollars, and SM shares rose 6.3% year to date.
One entertainment rep shared the cost that goes into an idol right up until their debut, saying "Dance and singing lessons are a given, and they take foreign language lessons and character education. A huge amount of money goes into these lessons, and even cosmetic surgery. It costs at least (about) 5 thousand dollars a month per person. If there are 40 trainees then that already amounts to 200 thousand dollars."
The show will feature some other new corners to report entertainment news. The first revamped episode aired February 5th.
