Miss A's 2012 hit song "Touch," off of the South Korean-Chinese group's third EP of the same title, is not an easy one to classify.

Too poppy to be experimental, yet awfully strange for a pop tune, "Touch" casts a strange spell on the listener, mixing mournful Fender Rhodes chords with sharp synth textures over a hard-hitting dance beat.

Not to mention an intro that sounds like it could be right out of a Wu-Tang Clan song.

"Touch" is like a song you'd hear at 4 a.m. in a dance club, that you can't quite believe is really as good as it seems.

It's easy to be distracted by the trippy imagery in the song's video and take for granted some of the more unwieldy, yet innovative production.

The four members of Miss A also deserve substantial credit for turning in vocal performances in "Touch" that are hauntingly poised, while still passionate.

While many K-pop idols seem to have two speeds-peppy dance vocals and drowsy ballad crooning, it is refreshing to hear how the members of Miss A deliver understated vocals that still have the power to bring the song home.

There is another reason the "Touch" video is a bit distracting, the obvious star power of Miss A singer and South Korea's sweetheart, Bae Suzy.

Like Hyuna of 4Minute or Lee Hyori, the camera just loves her.

Everyone in 4Minute is doing the same dance moves and singing equally solid vocal parts, but Suzy somehow commands attention. Your eyes are just drawn to her.

I guess that's what true star power is all about.
