After the BIGBANG leader rocked a solo mega tour in 2013, G-Dragon will be releasing a documentary following his performances on tour. The extremely popular singer showed why he is one of the most successful artists in the K-pop world as his tour was held in multiple international cities in over a dozen countries.
The documentary, “One of a Kind: 3D G-Dragon 2013 1st World Tour,” will be screened on February 28th for fans in Japan. It will include exclusive behind the scenes footage, as well as concert highlites and performances. To add to the excitement, the documentary style film will be show in 3D and with advanced technology to provide an even better viewing experience.
The film will be shown on February 28th. Fans in Japan are super excited for the opportunity, while international fans are hoping the documentary will be shown other places as well. Although Japanese fans seem to receive extra benefits from many different K-pop artists, international fans (Western audiences in particular) are generally left out of the bigger activities and extra events like fan signs, etc. It is only in the past few years that K-pop concerts are starting to be held in North and South America and Europe.
G-Dragon’s 2013 tour included a combined audience of over 500,000 fans. With a BIGBANG comeback in the upcoming future, it’s likely fans will be able to see him onstage once more.
